With Harold an ASE Master technician as the only technician, the business opened June 6th 1996. Operations were in a four bay shop building with two lifts. Based on Honesty and offering a full line of services the business grew.By September 1996 Harold had added two ASE certified technicians.
Committed to quality repair, Harold invested in only the best equipment. Soon Harold and his techs became known for their ability to fix the tough problems. By March 1997 the shop had expanded to four technicians, had added two more lifts, and a service advisor. In late 2000 Harold’s became a NAPA auto care center. Thru the auto care program Harold’s offers a 1yr / 12,000 mile nationwide warranty*
Harold’s Quality Auto Repair inc. earned ASE Blue Seal Shop status in 2001 and Harold earned the district NAPA technician of the year award 2002.
Harold’s received the Small Business of the Year for 2007 from the Salem Chamber of Commerce. Harold is a proud Salem Chamber of Commerce Ambassador, Member of the Salem Chamber of Commerce, Network Exchange Club, Salem Business Builders Incorporated and The West Salem Business & Neighborhood Associations.
Current expansion included a move to a larger 8,000 sq ft shop, with 9 lifts / 11 bays. New state of the art equipment for tires, alignment, custom exhaust and diagnostic’s and the addition of three new ASE master technicians allows Harold’s to provide a Superior level of performance in quality, customer service, and vehicle coverage. Harold’s repairs Import and Domestic cars, light trucks, suv’s, and marine vehicles.
